Chelsea signed Billy Gilmour as a young 16-year-old from Rangers in 2017, and the 19-year-old is highly rated at the club.
Having been signed up as a teenager, Gilmour went straight to the Chelsea academy. He has since joined the first team from Frank Lampard’s era and was gradually making his way as a starting player, although injuries struck at the time and have stalled his growth.
The Scotland youth international has now revealed that he’s keen to play again with Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher, who’s currently on loan with West Brom.

“In my team, I played alongside Conor Gallagher and I loved playing with him,” Gilmour told Chelsea’s Unscripted series.
“Of course, he has gone on loan and he did so well at Charlton and then Swansea and now to West Brom in the Premier League where he is playing every game.
“So, hopefully, we can see him [at Chelsea]. He is a good mate of mine and I love playing with him.”
Meanwhile, new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has spoken highly of the young midfielder and refused to let him leave the club on loan.
