‘I love the way he touches the ball’ – Atletico Madrid’s Portuguese sensation says of Chelsea player

Chelsea face Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 Champions League tie, with the first leg at the National Arena in Bucharest, Romania, tonight.

Speaking ahead of the game, Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix, has hailed Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount, and can’t wait to face the Chelsea academy product on the pitch.

Joao Felix has revealed that a former teammate at Benfica likened his playing style to that of Mason Mount about three years ago, and since then, he has been waiting for see Mount emerge as a top player.

Felix seems to be very impressed with Mount’s game and admires just how the young midfielder plays.

“I like the way he plays, the way he likes to drag the ball, the way he touches the ball,” the Atleti and Portugal sensation told the Daily Mail.

“I played with Chris Willock in Benfica three or four years ago and he told me that Chelsea has a guy that he sees who is similar to me and he told me it was Mason Mount.

“A few years later he appeared in Chelsea and I like the way he plays.

“Chris had told me about him before he appeared in the Premier League, so I was waiting to see him.”
