Jorginho seemed to have lost his place in the Chelsea team this season under Frank Lampard, as he was no longer deemed a regular. However, the Italy international has found favour under new boss Thomas Tuchel.
Jorginho’s performance has been impressive in the middle of the park, but his agent seems to suggest that his future may rather be with former Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
Sarri is being linked with a return to former side Napoli, and reports claim that he may go back for Jorginho, whom he signed for the club in 2018.
“Football is dynamic and nothing can be ruled out,” Jorginho’s agent Jorge Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli in response to the rumours.
“If Sarri returns to Napoli, he would make an attempt to take Jorginho back, he is perfect for his football, I can’t rule it out,” he added.
“He has two years left in his contract and he is an Italy starter,” his agent further claimed.
“However, with a good project, he would be open to coming back.”
