Chelsea’s form has experienced an instant turnaround under new boss Thomas Tuchel, as the Blues have gone from midtable in the Premier League since the sacking of Frank Lampard, to number 4 position.
Chelsea defeated Newcastle 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Monday night to push up to 4th place and just four points behind Manchester United and Leicester City, who are 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Tuchel is yet to taste defeat since taking charge of Chelsea, and having drawn his first game in charge of the club, the German tactician has gone on to win every single game he has taken charge of.
TalkSPORT host Jordan Jarrett-Bryan was in the studio for Monday nights Sports Bar, alongside Arsenal hero Perry Groves, and they both pointed out how Chelsea could win the league next season.
“I actually think that they’re not that many players away from winning the Premier League next year,” said Jarrett-Bryan.
“I think a goalkeeper, a top centre-back and a killer in front of goal…”
“So, exactly the same as they bought last summer,” Groves pointed out
“Well, yes! But with a top manager now, if they can get those three in the door this summer, I would have them as one of my favourites to win the title next season.”
