The Blues take on Spanish side Atletico Madrid on Tuesday in the Champions League.

Mason Mount has played down an injury scare he suffered against Southampton ahead of the game against Manchester United.

The 22-year-old was pictured holding some ice to his knee following the match, sparking fears he could miss the Atletico showdown with Tuesday.

Mount told the Chelsea’s official website: “It’s just a little knock. A bit of bruising but I’ll be fine. Nothing can stop me.”

Mount scored a second-half penalty to secure Chelsea a draw against Southampton after Takumi Minamino’s opener on Saturday.
