Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw with Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
For all of Chelsea’s possession, Thomas Tuchel’s side couldn’t break down the Saint’s defence, and it took only a Mason Mount penalty goal before the hour mark to draw level, having gone behind to a Takumi Minamino first-half goal.
Chelsea were unable to score another goal to get the win, and Owen Hargreaves singled out only Mason Mount for praise after the game.
“Great penalty,” Hargreaves told Premier League Productions.
“To be fair, he was probably the only real Chelsea attacker that looked sharp, looked good and I thought he played really well.
“Everything he touched seemed to be positive. ‘The rest of the attackers you’d have to say weren’t really in the game.”
