Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has given his squad’s injury update for the game against Manchester United on Sunday, as he has revealed the state of his squad heading into this crucial fixture.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Tuchel has revealed that defender Thiago Silva is the only player who will miss the game against United through injury.
The 36-year-old went off injured in the first half of the game against Tottenham, and has been unavailable since then.
Tuchel admitted that Silva is back to training, but the game against United will come too soon for him.
“No more injury concerns [in the rest of the squad] and no, Thiago cannot play on Sunday,” said Tuchel to the media on Friday.
“He did an individual session today but a session on the pitch and felt it was a big progress, a big step ahead for him. So I hope he will join the group next week.”
