Chelsea have an FA Cup fifth round tie with Barnsley away at the Oakland on Thursday night, and new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is set to rotate his squad for this game.
Tuchel has confirmed that N’Golo Kante and Hakim Ziyech will start the game.
Kante has played only once for the new manager, coming on as a sub against Tottenham. Ziyech was given a starting role against Wolves, but hasn’t featured since then.
Tuchel is pleased to have Kante back, and has urged Ziyech to show his quality in this game.
Speaking to the media, Tuchel said: “N’Golo will start tomorrow and I am so happy to have him back again. We put him on the pitch against Tottenham and he helped everybody on the pitch, which is what he does.
“Hakim is another one who hopefully tomorrow we will see the best of him. We count on Hakim to do something different, no doubt about that. He has lots of quality and we count on him like everyone else, no doubt about that.
“He has had a good training week and tomorrow he will have the chance to show the same quality and determination he shows in training.”
