The Thomas Tuchel honeymoon continues, with Chelsea leapfrogging West Ham United and Liverpool into fourth spot in the Premier League.

Chelsea beat Newcastle United 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Monday night thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud and Timo Werner.

Giroud came on for Tammy Abraham, who limped off in the 20th minute after picking up a knock, and scored Chelsea’s opener in the 31st minute.

Werner doubled Chelsea’s lead shortly before half-time, his first in 15 Premier League games.

Chelsea finished the game against Newcastle United with 66 percent possession, 18 goal attempts with 5 of those attempts on target.
