Hakim Ziyech is yet to establish himself in the Chelsea team since signing from Ajax, as the former Ajax man has seen his career stunted by injury and a lack of form.
Ziyech was a regular under former boss Frank Lampard, but has struggled for playing opportunities under new boss Thomas Tuchel.
Ziyech has only managed two goals and four assists in 21 appearances this term, with none coming under Tuchel, as the 27-year-old has struggled since getting injured in December.
Former Blue Alan Hudson, has now told Ziyech that he must prove his worth and not make any more excuses.
“He might have thought he would get away with taking it easy under Frank (Lampard), but this manager will not allow it,” the Blues icon told Caught Offside.
“We cannot be too critical because as someone who went through hell with that chronic ankle injury, he could be suffering.
“If he’s not injured there’s absolutely no excuse. He looked magnificent against Chelsea for Ajax, but we have not seen that player in a blue shirt.”
