4 Leeds United players to miss Premier League game against Chelsea

As many as four Leeds United players will Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men go into the Saturday lunchtime kick-off following back-to-back defeats against Aston Villa and West Ham while Chelsea are unbeaten under Thomas Tuchel.

Bielsa confirmed 35 year old Leeds United midfielder Pablo Hernandez will be unavailable for Saturday’s game against Chelsea.

21 year old Dutch defender Pascal Struijk was absent from the Leeds United squad that faced West Ham and will again miss out against Chelsea on Saturday.

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw is recovering well from a hip injury but the game against Chelsea will come too soon for him. He has been out of action since September 2019 with a hip problem that required surgery in the United States more than 12 months ago.

Leeds United defender Robin Koch is expected to miss the game against Chelsea as the German defender has only recently returned to training following his three month lay-off following knee surgery.
