Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly promised Thomas Tuchel to make one key signing this summer if the Blues qualify for the Champions League.
According to The Sun, Abramovich have promised to break the bank for £130million man Erling Haaland if Tuchel secures Champions League qualification for Chelsea.
The Borussia Dortmund forward has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in the world and is attracting interest from top clubs around Europe including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Manchester City.
It is claimed Dortmund are willing to sell Haaland next summer, but only for £130million.
Dortmund are open to selling Haaland this summer because the Norwegian international has a release clause in his contract which can see him leave for just £65million in the summer of 2022.
The report also claims Abramovich have given his word to manager Tuchel that he will fund a move for Haaland, but only if Chelsea qualify for next season’s Champions League.
