Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly ready to break the bank to complete the transfer of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak this summer.

This is according to Todo Fichajes via CaughtOffside, with the report claiming the Slovenian goalkeeper has received offers from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite Edouard Mendy’s impressive performances for the Blues since his arrival from Rennes, it seems the Blues aren’t still convinced as we continue to be linked with Atletico Madrid’s Oblak.

Chelsea have also been linked with AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, so it seems clear a new ‘keeper is a priority for the summer.

It would be some statement if they could land a world class talent like Oblak but do we need the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper when we have Mendy.

28 year old Oblak has two years left on his Atletico Madrid contract.
