Atletico Madrid star confesses Chelsea have what it takes to win the Champions League

Chelsea defeated Atletico Madrid home and away, as the Blues reached the quarter-final with a 3-0 aggregate scoreline.

Chelsea indeed dominated the game at Stamford Bridge, and Atletico boss Diego Simeone admitted after the game that the better team won.

Atletico Madrid star Kieran Trippier hailed Chelsea’s performance at the end of the game, and admitted that the better team won.

Trippier also tipped Chelsea to go all the way and become champions.

Speaking to beIN Sports post-match, Trippier said: “They can go all the way.

“They are a fantastic team, their manager has done a great job since he came in. They have conceded not too many goals, kept a lot of clean sheets.

“They have got a fantastic team, like I said, you look at the full squad.

“Good luck to them, the best team won on the night.”
