Chelsea beat Everton 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Monday night to maintain our position in the top four.
Kai Havertz was the star of the show as he played an instrumental role in both Chelsea’s goals, with his strike deflecting off Ben Godfrey for Chelsea’s first before winning a penalty which Jorginho duly converted.
Leicester City legend Gary Lineker hailed Havertz’s performance against Everton as his best in a Chelsea shirt.
Lineker tweeted: “This is comfortably Kai Havertz’s best game in a Chelsea shirt. A glimpse of the obvious abundance of talent he possesses.”
Havertz will be looking to get another chance to show his worth from the start when Chelsea travel to Leeds in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
