Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been in good form this season, and he has taken his fine club form to the national team.
Mount was on target as the Three Lions defeated Albania 2-0, and the 22-year-old has admitted that he’s confident heading into the game against Poland.
Mount said: “Obviously I feel very fortunate to have started the last seven games for England.
“I’m in a good place at the moment and I’m confident.
“I’ve just got to keep that going. Now the focus is on the next game and it’s a massive game against Poland. Their team is very strong but as a team we go into it with the mentality of wanting to win.”
Mount keeps playing regularly for club and country, and the man hailed as the future Chelsea captain, is pleased to have played this much games.
Mason Mount said after the win against Albania on Sunday: “I’m still young so I want to play every game I can and as many games as I can.
“My mentality is always that I just keep working hard to get into the team, to stay in the team and try to get as many games as I can. That is always my focus.”
