Chelsea have received a boost in the race for a key transfer target with Real Madrid now preferring to sign another player.

According to SER Deportivos via The Sun, Chelsea have been given a boost with Real Madrid reportedly preferring to sign Harry Kane over Erling Haaland this summer.

SER Deportivos claims the Spurs star has emerged as Los Blancos’ No1 target.

That means the likes of Man United, Chelsea and Man City could be left to battle it out for Haaland.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are reportedly unwilling to sell Haaland to Chelsea due to their poor relationship with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
