Thomas Tuchel has turned Chelsea into a winning machine, as the new boss is yet to taste defeat in his 11 games in charge, so far.

The Blues have gone on to record consecutive victories against Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Everton, meaning Tuchel’s Chelsea have been beating the big teams as well.

Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant, has praised what the new boss has achieved thus far, and has also hailed the quality of the squad.

Interestingly, Grant believes Chelsea have a better squad with lots of stars, labelling former Blue Kevin De Bruyne, as the only star player in the Manchester City team. Grant believes that the Manchester City team are now weakened in the absence of David Silva who left at the end of last season, and all Pep Guardiola has is a team.

Asked whether Chelsea’s squad is really better than the current Manchester City outfit, Grant told Dubai Eye 103.8 Sport: “It’s a good question. I don’t think that City now, after David Silva left, have a better squad than others.

“I think what’s happened is that they have a very good team and squad but tell me one position where they have a top, top player now. Top, I mean like David Silva or others. I don’t think so.

Grant went on, as he spoke on De Bruyne: “Ah, De Bruyne is top-class, yes. ‘For me, he is the most efficient player in the world. If you look at his numbers since he played outside of England.

“De Bruyne, yes, I agree with you. They are a very good team, don’t get me wrong, but I say when you look sometimes there a lot of stars everywhere but I don’t see stars.

“I think Pep Guardiola is doing a great job with very good players.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
