Chelsea legend Frank Lampard was sacked as Chelsea boss in January and replaced with Thomas Tuchel.

According to reports, Lampard is being considered for a national team job following his sack as Chelsea boss.

Daily Mail via Metro claim Lampard is being considered to become England Under-21s next manager.

Aidy Boothroyd is expected to leave his role this summer when his contract expires and the Football Association is considering its options.

England U21 have failed to win a game at the European Under-21 Championship during the international break and Boothroyd isn’t expected to extend his contract.

The report claims that Lampard has admirers within the FA for the work he has done at Derby County and Chelsea.
