Former Chelsea Women star Eniola Aluko was full praise for Kai Havertz after his performance in our 2-0 win against Everton on Monday night.
Havertz’s shot deflected off Ben Godfrey for the opener, and he won the penalty for Jorginho’s spot-kick in the second half to cap a good display.
“Havertz was involved in everything good,’ Aluko told BT Sport. “His movement was very good.
“It was a good start from Chelsea, and from then on, Havertz’s movement in those little 10 pockets, really started to dictate the game, particularly in the second half.
“He was getting into those little pockets, linking up with Werner, just clever play.
“I think he has given Thomas Tuchel a lot to think about.
“There is a lot of competition for places up front. A lot of good competition up front for Chelsea is healthy.”
