With Borussia Dortmund demanding over £150million for Erling Haaland, the Blues are reportedly looking at other alternatives.

Recent reports have claimed Chelsea will consider making a move for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku should the Blues fail to land Haaland this summer.

However, Chelsea fans are divided on whether the club should consider buying back Lukaku.

Check out what Chelsea fans had to say about the club’s interest in Lukaku on Reddit:

Harige_zak – “Will Lukaku fit our playstyle? When you watch most of his goals for Inter, he’s running at the defenders with a lot of space. He won’t get that with Chelsea and we already have Werner who’s great at counter attacking.”

Jassle93 – “His finishing has become exceptional compared to when he left us but the biggest trait he’ll bring to Chelsea is his hold up play.”

BChang89 – “I mean, the lad has tons of experience banging in goals in the PL. I think he knows how to score here lol regardless of play style. If he’s scored goals for West Brom and Everton, I’m not worried about him scoring for us.”

LethalCaribou – “No disrespect to lukaku but I would be disappointed if that’s who we end up getting.”

Leaderxyz – “One concern I have regarding Lukaku is his age. On paper you’d think he had a decent few years left but he was a first team starter at the age of 16 in Belgium. That’s equals a lot of mileage already and then there’s the 90 caps he has at international level.”

Kai_123 – “I genuinely would not mind getting Lukaku back. He is a proven player even in the Premier League.”

Soccerislife10z – “Oh please no lukaku. I really don’t know what the hype is about. Yes he have great goal record but when you watch him play, most of the time he is pretty average. He just wouldn’t cut it, if we are truly looking at a world class striker.”
