The FA Cup and the Champions League represents Chelsea’s only chances of winning a trophy this season, and it’s by no means a daunting task, as Chelsea will have to face Manchester City first in the FA Cup semifinal.
For the Champions League, majority of Europe’s big wigs are still in the competition, meaning it will be a huge task.
Meanwhile, the Blues are unbeaten in 14 games under Thomas Tuchel, and there’s growing belief within the squad that Chelsea can go on to win the FA Cup and Champions League.
Chelsea wing-back Ben Chilwell is confident that the team has what it takes to win both competitions.
“That’s 100 per cent possible,” stressed Chilwell according to the official Chelsea website.
“We’re in both competitions, we’re playing very well at the moment and we’re confident. It’s not something we’re talking about, at the moment we’re taking it week by week, and the manager has made it clear that is what we need to do.
“We need to keep improving every week in training and going into every match with the same mindset we have been having at the moment.”
