Chelsea midfielder Jorginho remained in England during the international break after suffering a knee injury during the Blues’ goalless draw with Leeds United.
Jorginho’s agent, Joao Santos, has revealed the midfielder’s injury isn’t too serious.
Santos told Radio Marte via CalcioMercato.com: “It’s not a serious problem (the knee), he needs to do some physiotherapy.”
Jorginho’s contract at Stamford Bridge runs until the summer of 2023 and his agent warned the Blues that Jorginho would return to Italy if his contract isn’t extended.
“The Chelsea midfield has players of great value,” he said. “If Chelsea don’t renew, we’ll try to return to Italy.”
