Chelsea play host to Everton at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, and it’s a must win game for Thomas Tuchel and his boys.
Chelsea are 4th in the league and the Toffees are 5th, with just one point separating the two teams. However, Everton have a game in hand, having played a game less.
Chelsea remain unbeaten under Thomas Tuchel, and the new Blues boss have drawn only thrice this season, winning every team he has faced.
Former Manchester United and Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov is backing a draw in this game and has predicted a 1-1 scoreline. Berbatov believes Thomas Tuchel’s side will start dropping points.
He told Betfair: “I think it’s time for Chelsea to drop some points, Tuchel has come in and he has made them very hard to beat. I can’t see Everton taking all three points but if they want to still be in the race for the top four then they have to get something from this match.”
Berbatov has spoken as a fan and not a football pundit. Indeed, he has let his emotions get the better of him in his prediction for this fixture.
Tuchel has made Chelsea a difficult team to play against, and following the victory over Liverpool, the momentum is definitely on the Chelsea team.
