Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has been dropped from the latest Spain squad announced on Monday.
Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez replaces Kepa in the Spain squad after keeping six cleansheets in 17 appearances for the relegation-threatened Seagulls after replacing Mat Ryan, who joined Arsenal in January.
Kepa has lost his place as Chelsea’s no.1 goalkeeper to Edouard Mendy this season after series of mistakes in goal last season.
Spain begin their World Cup 2022 qualifying campaign against Greece on Thursday next week, before travelling to Georgia and returning home for a third match against Kosovo in a busy week for Luis Enrique’s side.
