Ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash between Leeds United and Chelsea, Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed key Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is fit to face the Blues.
Phillips is integral to Bielsa’s system at Leeds, and the Yorkshire club have struggled to replace him at the base of their midfield in recent weeks.
Leeds have struggled in his absence, losing three of the four games he recently missed with a calf injury.
The midfielder made his injury comeback in Leeds United’s 2-0 defeat to West Ham on Monday night and Bielsa confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Thursday that the midfielder is fit to face Chelsea.
“They are both good,” he said when asked about Phillips and Rodrigo Moreno, another Leeds star who made his return from injury against West Ham.
