Liverpool play host to Chelsea at Anfield on Thursday evening, with both sides fighting for a place in the top four.
Jurgen Klopp has since seen his side’s title push crash, with injuries overcoming his side.
However, Klopp has had massive injury boost ahead of facing Chelsea, with some key players making a return ahead of Thursday’s game.
Klopp has welcomed back absentees Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota and Fabinho, with the trio having all trained ahead of facing Chelsea.
Alisson was absent for Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Sheffield United on Sunday evening following the death of his father, Jose Becker, in Brazil last week.
Jota, has been out of action since December 9, since suffering a knee injury in a Champions League tie against Midtjylland. Jota has since recovered from his knee problem, and is now set to face Chelsea. He only missed Liverpool’s game against Sheffield United at the weekend due to illness.
Fabinho is also back to training, and could be available to face Chelsea as well.
Speaking on the return of his star players, Klopp said: “Alisson and Fabinho, I’m pretty sure [will be available for the match against Chelsea].
“With Diogo, he was with us in the hotel, but he got sick overnight and we had to send him home. It depends how quick he will recover, obviously.
“He was in the squad and as I said before, he trained with the team and it all looked really good but unfortunately he got sick overnight. I think he will be available, but I don’t know.”
