Chelsea hold a slender advantage heading into tonight’s Champions League cracker against Atletico Madrid.
The Blues won the first leg 1-0 away at Bucharest, and need a draw of any kind to go through to the quarter-finals.
Michael Owen has given his prediction for this game, and is backing a tight tactical battle between the two managers. Owen went on to predict a 1-1 draw at the Bridge tonight.
“Since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival, the Blues have been pretty much rock solid at the back and another strong defensive performance will be required here,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Tactically, I find this one fascinating, as Madrid are likely to be patient knowing that they could get caught out if they throw caution to the wind too early.
“With that in mind, I can see both sides cancelling each other out and Chelsea going through to the quarter-finals.”
