Chelsea could only manage a point at Elland Road after playing a goalless draw with Leeds United away from home.

See the player ratings below

Mendy: Made a couple of good saves to ensure Chelsea remain in the game. A fingertip save on Roberts’ shot hit the crossbar in the first half, and he also pulled off a fantastic stop from Harrison in the second half. 8/10

Azpilicueta: Was very solid against a Leeds side that never seemed to rest. Dependable as usual. 7/10

Christensen: Made one mistake that almost cost the team. But afterwards, he did well and also had one good run forward. 7/10

Rudiger: Solid at the back and also tried to attack from the left side on many occasions. Supported the attack from a left-sided centre-back role. Did his job defensively. 7/10

Jorginho: Fouled too frequently as he was good on the ball. Dictated play well from deep in midfield, but it was never easy against a Leeds side that press all 90 minutes. 6/10

Kante: He really worked hard for the team, and he maintained a high energy all through the game. Beat Leeds press whenever he had the ball, and was always on their tail. 7/10

Pulisic: Started in an unfamiliar right wing-back role that didn’t really work out for him. Seemed to struggle in attack and didn’t do much of his defensive duties. 6/10

Chilwell: It wasn’t an excellent performance, but he had some good spells in the game. His final ball was lacking at times, but he seemed to be always available on the left flank. 6/10

Ziyech: Gradually seems to be getting to grips with Premier League football, but still didn’t do enough to merit a starting berth under Tuchel. Worked hard at times and had some good moments, but nothing more. Played one fine cross in for Kai Havertz that wasn’t converted in the first half. 5/10

Mount: Tried so hard to help the team, but the whole attack just seemed too drab. 6/10

Kai Havertz: Missed a good chance early in the second-half and seems to be a more improved player. However, still far off from his superb Everton performance. 6/10

Reece James: Came on for Pulisic after 67 minutes of action, and he added energy to the game. Made a couple of good runs and also ensured that Chelsea’s right side was well protected. 6/10

Werner: Came on for Ziyech after 67 minutes. Didn’t really have a hold of the game. 5/10

Hudson-Odoi: 77 minute sub for Mount. Tried to be direct and aim a couple of shots at goal. Did okay within that short time. 6/10

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
