Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revamped the squad, and the team has been in winning form since his appointment.
In his 14 games in charge of the club, Chelsea are yet to taste defeat, and have only conceded a goal in two games.
The German boss tends to set his team up differently for each game, and often tends to rotate his side.
Chelsea right-back who now features as a right wing-back under Tuchel, has admitted that the manager tends to keep players on their toes due to the level of competition.
He told the official Chelsea website: “When the competition’s always so high, there’s so many good players around you, I think sometimes rotation and competition helps bring the best out of myself and the other players.
“It keeps you on your toes and pushes you every day in training as well, just to make sure that you are playing and you get the best out of yourself and the rest of the players.”
