Bruno Fernandes has been a standout player for Manchester United since he signed for the club. Not only has the Portuguese impressed for United massively, he has been one of the best players in the Premier League since he joined, and is a contender for this year’s Player of the Season.

However, the very impressive Bruno Fernandes had a quiet game against Chelsea on Sunday, as N’Golo Kante ensured that he remained quiet all game.

Andreas Christensen was praised for handling Luis Suarez in the Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid, but for Sunday’s game, Kante was the man for the job.

Bruno Fernandes, by his standard, had a very poor game against Chelsea as he had no shot on target and no successful take on. He lost possession 20 times, the most by any player on the pitch, and he was never allowed to get into the game.

Chelsea fans have since sang the praise of Kante, for his work against Fernandes.
