Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will be hoping that his Chelsea dream do not come to an end, after an unbeaten start to his Chelsea career.

After 13 games in charge of the club, Chelsea are yet to taste defeat under the German boss, with the latest victory coming in the 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid.

Tuchel has now set a record for the longest ever unbeaten start by a Chelsea manager as he reached 13 straight matches without defeat.

The previous best record was held by Luiz Felipe Scolari, who went 12 games unbeaten in 2008 at the start of his tenure at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking after the victory, Tuchel admitted that he was pleased with the team’s performance, as he said: “It was a very good performance.

“We go through and that was deserved. It was an unbelievable team effort from the guys on the pitch, the guys on the bench and even the guys in the stands!

“It was a really big win for us and a deserved win. The amount of effort and intensity from the team in both legs was outstanding and incredible. We missed four key players but everybody else stepped up so I’m very happy.

“There were moments when we were excellent with the ball, we had brave and courageous defending, and adapted to any system the opponent played. It was a big win, a deserved win and I’m super happy for my players.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
