Fikayo Tomori will surely be relishing his loan spell away at AC Milan, as the 23-year-old has been a top player for the Serie A giants.

Chelsea fans were surprised at his lack of opportunities under Frank Lampard this season, before he sealed a loan move to AC Milan in January.

Tomori has surpassed expectations in so short a time, and put in another good shift in Milan’s 3-2 victory over Fiorentina on Sunday.

Following his fine performance, Tomori was chosen as the MVP by fans as Milan defeated Fiorentina 3-2.

Tomori won 100% of his duels, and the club’s official website recorded him as man of the match with over 60% of votes from fans, and described his performance as “near perfect,” and the slightly mystifying “substantial”.

AC Milan believe they would convince Tomori to remain with the club permanently, and Chelsea fans will be biting their lips in frustration if they lose the club’s academy product.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
