Thiago Silva joined Chelsea as a free agent last summer on a one year deal after the expiration of his PSG contract, with the Blues having the option of extending for another year.
According to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are still working on extending Thiago Silva’s contract and a final decision is expected in the coming days or weeks.
Romano also revealed AC Milan are happy with performance of Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori, who joined the Italian side on loan in January with an option to buy for €28million.
The transfer expert also confirmed AC Milan will make a decision on Tomori’s option to buy clause in May.
Romano tweeted: “Chelsea are still working to extend Thiago Silva’s contract, waiting for the final decision in the coming days/weeks.
“Meanwhile, AC Milan are “so happy” with Fikayo Tomori impact and performances – the board will decide in May on the €28m buy option.”
