It wasn’t an easy game at Anfield, as Chelsea defeated Liverpool 1-0, to inflict a fifth consecutive defeat for Liverpool at the Anfield Stadium.

Chelsea put up a disciplined performance, with Mason Mount scoring the opener in the first half.

Liverpool never ever looked liked scoring, and could barely get a shot on target, with star player Mohamed Salah hardly getting any joy in the game.

Salah was livid as Jurgen Klopp had seen enough and took the surprise decision to replace Salah after just 62 minutes.

Salah looked agitated when he saw his number on the board to go off, and television cameras caught the Egypt international repeatedly shaking his head on the Liverpool bench.

Mohamed Salah’s representative, Ramy Abbas Issa, caused a bit of controversy as he also showed his displeasure towards Klopp’s decision to take off Salah. Ramy posted a full stop on Twitter just minutes after the forward was brought off as he revolted Klopp’s decision.

Liverpool fans have since been enraged by the act done by Ramy, as one fan responded: “You know your player isn’t bigger than this club, right? He didn’t make LFC the legendary club that it is, right? And this attitude is unprofessional and absolute bulls***, yeah???’

Another Liverpool supporter replied: ‘You’re his agent and you’re literally making things worse for your own client, hope the little bit of attention is worth it.’

Indeed, Chelsea’s defence did a great job of stopping Liverpool’s trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, but it was Salah who got the least joy on the pitch.
