David Alaba’s agent has denied reports that the Bayern Munich defender has reached a verbal agreement with Barcelona.
Alaba has confirmed he will leave Bayern Munich this summer when his contract expires and Chelsea are keen on signing the Champions League winner.
Reports had claimed Barcelona have already settled terms on a pre-contract with Alaba following the election of new president Joan Laporta but Alaba’s agent Pini Zahavi has hit back at the claims.
Zahavi told Goal: “That’s not true.”
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in signing Alaba this summer.
