Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic was brilliant as the Blues beat Porto 2-1 on aggregate to progress to the Champions League semi-finals.
Porto’s tactics throughout the game was to disrupt Chelsea’s attacks by committing fouls and Pulisic was a target for the Portuguese side.
Pulisic won eleven fouls against FC Porto, the most recorded by a player in a Champions League game since Lionel Messi vs. Real Madrid in 2011.
Pulisic is beginning to earn more minutes under manager Thomas Tuchel, getting the start vs Porto after playing 90 minutes this past weekend against Crystal Palace, and his ability to outmanoeuvre his opponents with the ball at his feet has proven an asset for the Blues.
