According to Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur want former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri to become their new manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
Spurs have reportedly contacted Sarri’s representative Fali Ramadani to offer the Italian the job from the beginning of next season.
Sarri is desperate to return to management having been dismissed by Juventus following a frustrating 2019-20 campaign, which saw them eliminated by Lyon in the round of 16 stage in the Champions League.
Prior to Sarri’s sacking in Turin, the 62-year-old won the Serie A title while losing the Coppa Italia final to Napoli on penalties.
Sarri was in charge of Chelsea for the 2018-19 season and won the Europa League while the Blues finished third in the league.
