Chelsea sealed passage to the semi-final of the Champions League, after a 2-1 aggregate victory over Porto.
Chelsea lost the second leg 1-0 in Seville, but the Blues had already done the job in the first leg after a 2-0 win over the Portuguese side.
Speaking after the game, Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount admitted that he was keen to face anyone, as he didn’t care if it was Real Madrid or Liverpool.
Mount told BT Sport: “We’ll take anyone. We’re ready for the fight. We’re ready for the battle. We get to sit down and watch it and analyse it. We’ll be ready for anyone.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel admitted that he’d rather face Spanish giants Real Madrid, so the game would have more of a European taste than the Premier League.
It’s Chelsea’s first semi-final appearance in the Champions League since 2014, and the Blues fans will be hopeful to see a repeat of the 2012 season where Chelsea won the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
