UEFA chief Aleksander Ceferin has threatened to Chelsea out of the Champions League this season for endorsing the new European Super League.

Chelsea are in the semi-finals of the Champions League and are to play Spanish club Real Madrid while Manchester City will play PSG in the other semi-final match.

Ceferin has revealed UEFA is considering throwing out Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City from the Champions League this season.

“We’re still assessing with our legal team but we will take all the sanctions that we can and we will inform you as soon we can,” Ceferin said after a UEFA conference this morning.

“My opinion is that as soon as possible they have to be banned from all our competitions and the players from all our competitions.”
