Chelsea legend Frank Lampard lasted only 18 months in charge of the club, after being appointed as Blues boss ahead of the 2019-20 season.
Lampard was hailed for the job he did in his first season, as he guided a young Chelsea squad to a top four finish.
After a poor run of results midway through this season, Lampard was sacked, with Thomas Tuchel appointed as his replacement.
Tuchel’s appointment has coincided with Chelsea gaining back form, and he has guided the team to reach the FA Cup semi finals and the Champions League semi finals.
Chelsea and Manchester City will meet each other in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday, and City boss Pep Guardiola has been impressed with the job done by the former boss and the current boss.
“Every manager plays in the way they play,” Guardiola said in his press conference.
“Frank did an incredible job in the first season when he could not sign players and qualified for the Champions League.
“I admire both as a person and a manager. Tomorrow we face Thomas. He knows how I admire him and how good he is as a manager. It will be a good battle.”
