Erling Haaland is a man in demand, and the Borussia Dortmund striker has been linked with a move to virtually every top club in Europe.
Just recently, it was reported that the 20-year-old’s agent Mino Raiola had met with Real Madrid and Barcelona over a possible transfer for his client. Reports also suggested that Raiola is soon to meet with club chiefs in the Premier League as well.
Meanwhile, the Dutchman has now responded to the many reports going round about Haaland and insists that they are fake.
Raiola recently took to Twitter to respond to the transfer rumours around Haaland, and he uploaded a video of various reports involving the striker, labelling them with the word “fake” multiple times. Raiola captioned the post: “Fake news travels quick and far.”
Raiola had recently claimed that Haaland is way ahead of schedule in his development, and is ready to play for any top club in the world.
“Haaland is in front of his own development,” he said. “He is ahead of his own schedule. Maybe I was too careful when I said, ‘Oh no, let’s move to Dortmund instead of I-don’t-know-where’.
“This boy – I’m 100 per cent convinced and everybody’s convinced – can move to any club, wherever he wants, already on this level. He could have done that last year.”
