Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is already a man in demand, as clubs are now believed to be monitoring his situation and are keen to make a swoop during the summer, if his situation at Chelsea continues this way.
Tammy Abraham was Frank Lampard’s first choice striker last season, and he scored 18 goals and was the club’s top scorer last term. Tammy Abraham was also leading the scoring chart for Chelsea this season, but has since seen himself lose his place in the squad.
The 23-year-old doesn’t even make the matchday squad anymore, as Thomas Tuchel has preferred Timo Werner as his man striker, with Kai Havertz playing as a false nine at times.
Tuchel has often tried to diffuse the situation concerning Tammy Abraham, but the Daily Telegraph say his treatment of the England international has ‘confused’ a number of Chelsea players, and even Abraham himself.
When asked to explain Abraham’s absence against West Brom, Tuchel said: “He was not in the squad. I have to nominate 18 players. There are tough choices to make.
“We take the choices of what the game demands, of what we predict, of the substitutions that we have. In the end, we have to select 18 players for more or less 20 positions.
“So we have to leave three players out and Tammy was one of the three players. It’s nothing personal or nothing big. He has the same chance to play every three days like everybody else.”
