Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley is currently on loan with Aston Villa, as he joined the Birmingham side on a season-long loan deal until the end of the season.
Although no final decision has been made on Barkley, the Athletic claims that Chelsea will demand £30m-35m for the midfielder should a club be interested in him.
Barkley started his loan spell with Villa in fine form, but his form had dropped since then, and he has also battled injury at some point.
In 21 appearances, Barkley has 4 goals and 1 assist for Villa who are paying the entirety of his £120,000 wages.
The 27-year-old midfielder has just 2 years remaining on his contract, and it’s yet to be seen if new boss Thomas Tuchel will be keen on keeping him.
