Sergio Aguero is set to leave Manchester City at the end of the season after ten years with the club.
The Argentine international is City’s record goalscorer, having netted 257 goals in 385 appearances in all competitions.
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing the 32 year old Argentine striker with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel keen on strengthening Chelsea’s attack this summer.
According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport via Daily Express, Aguero wants to receive a yearly wage of around €12m (£10m).
When recently asked about Chelsea’s interest in signing Aguero, Tuchel said: “You can ask but it’s the same answer as Haaland.
“We have full respect for Manchester City and Sergio Aguero, who is a big player for them.
“There is no words needed for me about the achievements of this guy, he is a world-class player. But we have three competitions in which we are in with Manchester City so I will not speak about their player.”
