Chelsea have been without Thiago Silva since he suffered an injury and had to be subbed off in the 1-0 win over Tottenham back in February.
The veteran Brazilian has been a very good signing for the Blues and has also had an impact in team, in the dressing room and on the pitch.
Thiago Silva has since resumed training and could be in line to face West Brom on Saturday, after being out of action for two months.
While addressing the media in his press conference on Friday, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel admitted that he was indeed pleased to have Silva back in the squad.
“It’s the best situation you can have as a manager,” the German told the media.
“We can substitute players or replace players that are injured without a loss of quality.
“That is very good and it gives us a good feeling. Tomorrow we have Thiago available and everyone else in defence is fit. It’s the same with the goalkeepers.
“It’s very important to have this at this time of the season. We need everybody in top shape.”
