There was an altercation between Porto manager Sergio Conceicao and Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel at full time at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville.
Porto lost the game 2-1 in aggregate, and following the full time whistle, players and staff from the two sides clashed in the pitch, with Porto boss Sergio Conceicao visibly upset.
Speaking after the game, Conceicao claimed that the Chelsea manager insulted him on the sidelines during the match, as he refused to exchange pleasantries with the Chelsea manager at full-time.
Conceicao also claimed that the fourth official heard the offensive language used by the Chelsea manager.
“I told the referee that the fourth referee heard the insults,” he said.
Meanwhile, in his post-match press conference, Tuchel refused to be drawn on the altercation when asked about the full-time rift. Tuchel simply said: “No harm done.”
