Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed he’s yet to decide if Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will feature against Porto on Tuesday.

The Frenchman was a late substitute in Saturday’s 4-1 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday, with Tuchel unwilling to risk him from the start at Selhurst Park after recovering from an injury he suffered on an international duty with France.

“I was unbelievably happy when he could travel with us last week,” said Tuchel.

“Now he lacks the downside of his decision, he lost a bit of sleep after the travel issues, the next day he could not train like he usually does so we decided to bring him from the bench against Crystal Palace.

“When I see him tomorrow in training I will make a decision and how the midfielders are.

“Normally it is hard to think of a game like this without N’Golo but we have to absolutely be careful with him.”
