Chelsea looked a different team in the game against Crystal Palace. It is surely one of the team’s best performance of the season, not only because of the scoreline, but so many other factors.

The team’s desire to press and win the ball back was impressive, the intensity of the press was also on a different level. The fluidity and movement was surely jaw dropping.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was definitely pleased with the intensity of the display, and urged the players to fight until the end of the season.

He said: “I am very happy with all the energy levels. Now is the moment to fight for your place. If you have a place in the squad, fight to be on the pitch. If you have a place on the pitch, fight to stay on the pitch.

“This is not the moment for big changes or to try things. There were not a lot of changes today, we are in the race for the top four and we don’t judge games as more important than any other.

“We go step by step which is easier to say than do, but today we were absolutely focused and this is what I demanded.

“I absolutely want that in our DNA we have a high work-rate and high intensity and we are tired after matches. This is how it should be when you play for Chelsea.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
