West Brom boss Sam Allardyce has claimed Leicester City are a “far better” team that Chelsea.
West Brom lost 3-0 to Leicester City on Thursday night but beat a 10-man Chelsea team 5-2 at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
Allardyce said: “We were a long long way off where we have been.
“Leicester are a lot better than Southampton and far better than Chelsea – they are as good as the top boys. They are only behind Man City on that performance.”
The shock 5-2 defeat to West Brom is Thomas Tuchel’s only league defeat as Chelsea boss.
Chelsea took the lead in the game through Christian Pulisic, but after Thiago Silva was sent off, West Brom turned things around, with two goals from Matheus Pereira giving them the lead at half time.
Callum Robinson and Mbaye Diagne then made it 4-1 to the visitors, before Mason Mount pulled a goal back for the Blues, only for Robinson to add a fifth goal in injury time.
